Other Lights Out Type Games
Several other games have been produced over the years which are based on similar principles to Tiger's Lights Out games. This page provides a brief description of these.
Merlin
Merlin is an electronic game manufactured by Parker Toys. It plays six different
games and one of them, Magic Square, is extremely similar to Lights Out. Merlin`s
Magic Square is played on a 3 by 3 array of buttons, and each button can be in one
of two states (off or flashing). The effect of pressing a button is to toggle the
state of that button as well as that of certain other buttons. The aim of the game
is to get all the buttons, except for the central one, flashing.

XL 25
XL-25 was manufactured by Vulcan Electronics. It is an early, and very neat, implementation
of a Lights Out type game. It plays standard Lights Out and an intersting variant
based on the Knights move in chess.
