Channel 4 Loses It
Introduction
All of these images were captured from Channel 4 on 09-02-2002 between 21:30 and 21:50. The programme showing is "Fame and Misfortune" - and the big ugly thing in the bottom left hand corner is the "interactivity" button. I don't like it - and here's why!The Good
OK - let's start on a light note. Although the logo is ugly, in this case it made me laugh!

The Bad and the Ugly
Ok, down to the serious stuff. This next shot is from the programme "Fame and Misfortune".
Could anyone tell me what Mark Beaumont does? Why should I trust his opinion? This happened several times during the show - and annoyingly every time Mark Beaumont was introduced his name came up in the same place. I wa watching this programme beyond remote control reach of the Digibox and so could not get rid of the logo - so I could never find out.
The next lot are from the advert break at 21:48 (ish) - and are typical examples, if a long way from being the worst. Covering up the small print is not a good idea.
What can I do?
The short answer is - complain! Make your voice heard - complain to the broadcaster - Channel 4 in this case, complain to the ITC (although they say it's not their problem).But first - join the UK campaign for logo free TV. The more members there are - the bigger the voice. Don't delay - join today!
